Please do not list "Adopt-a-pet" or "Buffalo animal shelter"

Also please email me if you are giving away free kittens 7 months old or younger and you live in Buffalo, NY or near Buffalo, NY

Thanks

Hi there...here's a listing of shelters in your region:

Animal Shelter

582 Mineral Springs Rd

Buffalo, NY 14224

(716) 823-2988

http://www.westseneca.net

Buffalo Animal Shelter

1 review

380 Oak St

Buffalo, NY 14203

(716) 851-5694

Consider also searching through the Buffalo Craigslist http://buffalo.craigslist.org/pet/ to see if there are any kittens there. Ads are updated daily so be sure to check back often.

Petfinder http://www.petfinder.com also lists daily as well.

Just so you know, even a No Kill Shelter does put down dogs. They do give them more time than a regular shelter, and they try really hard to adopt them out etc, but if it's there too long and they haven't been able to rehabilitate it enough to adopt it out, they will put it down. Hopefully your dog is just a matter of training and not true aggression problems. You don't say what kind of dog it is, some dogs don't do well around kids, for various reasons. Research the breeds before you ever pick another dog for your family.

Yes! It's called Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue. They have cats too. It's in Mayville, NY (maybe about 45 minutes from Buffalo) but it's worth the drive. We adopted 2 adorable cats from there and friends of ours adopted 3 dogs. It is a wonderful place. Here is the website: http://www.caninerescue.org/
