It depends on many factors but the most limiting one is environment -- indoor or outdoor or combination. Indoor-only cats average about 20 years while outdoor-only cats have an average lifespan of 9-10 years. Healthy cats (with good genes) can live long, memorable lives provided that are kept active, fed a balanced diet, and loved. ;>

Well, it depends on the cat. The oldest cat on record, I believe was 46, and then again, some don't even make it out of the womb.:(

For a normal indoor cat it's 10-20 years, depending on it's health. An outdoor cat, might live that long, but it's less likely.

I had a female cat that was spaded and she lived 21yrs. I had another male cat that lived for 17 yrs. Cats can live faily long if they are an inside cat, as this minimizes their chance of getting hit by a car.

10 to 15 years. Sometimes it depends on the breed the cat is.

A long time because they have 9 lives. LOL. Seriously though. They usually live from 12-15 years if they are fed and treated well and are healthy.

It depends on how well you take care of the kitty. My kitties have lived to be at least 16-17 years of age. I knew someone that had a kitty that was 22. It just depends on your care and dedication

I don't know how you can bare ask that qestian. i don't want to even think about it with my dogs.

but really, 12-15 years. (if treated normally) if you provide them EXTRA care, and love, they might live a little longer...
