Cats love boxes, blankets, anything that will cover them partially or completely. Cats are predatory animals who love to hide to sneak up on prey unexpectadly. Your cat is expressing its natural instincts to hide, it is how your cat likes to play and have fun and it is very cute! :)

My cats will play hide and seek all day.

CATS LOVE TO GO UNDER THE BLANKETS BECAUSE THEY FEEL VERY SECURE WITH YOU AND LIKE TO BE VERY CLOSE.

This is just a natural behavior for many cats. They like small, dark, warm 'hidey holes'.

Because it is nice and cozy under there they like to be where it is nice and warm. they also like to be next to you . If you are gone a lot they probably miss you and are making up for the time they are left alone. My dog likes to sleep under the blankets too but he has areason for that . he likes it at night because he is comfy but in the morning all i see is his little head sticking out and he closes his eyes when he sees me walk into the room because he knows he is going to be put out to do his duty. lol.

Cats love to be warm. Have you ever seen stray cats outside. They are usually laying in the sun. It is something about cats they look for the sun spots.
