I am looking to switch to new litter, but don't know which one is best. From what I've read, Feline Pine has the best smell, but it turns into sawdust and tracks everywhere. I hear Breeze is great, but am concerned about cost (I will need 2 litter boxes, I have 2 cats). And I heard Yesterday's News isn't the best with odor control. I wish I could combine all three products! Please tell me your experiences, I'm really trying to get away from clumping litter b/c it is so messy and I don't have time to clean it every day. Thanks!

I've been using Feline Pine for 3 years and it's really good (at least I think so, lol). I haven't tried the other brands you mentioned. I have two cats and they both use the same litter box. One 20 lb bag usually lasts 3 weeks, sometimes 4. I do get a few pellets around the litter box from the cats vigorously covering their 'deeds', but I haven't had a problem with litter tracking everywhere.

I use Feline Pine and Nature's Logic (which is a very similar product) exclusively and I have a multi-cat household. I don't find a huge tracking problem as I use covered boxes with a tall entrance. I tried Yesterday's News and after 1 pan's use, I threw the rest out. Wasn't terribly absorbent, and it was horrible in terms of odor control.

I would never recommend sprinkling potpourri into litter. Many potpourri blends can contain plants that are unsafe for cats.

For my cats, I use a product called Innofresh pet odor absorber. It's an activated carbon filter that is totally unscented so it actually gets rid of the smell. No matter what litter I use, always still smells some, even using the best litter with baking soda or carbon. WIth this product, I dont' have any more problems. It really works for me. Usually I just go on line and buy it from manufacturer at their web site - www.innofresh.com

I just clip them onto the side of the litter box and that's it.

Yesterday's News is decent. Just sprinkle a little potpourri in there... and it works. Also Feline Pine (which rocks!!!) is my fav! I just have one of those Litter Mat's so my cat's don't track it everywhere

I even have not used the day previous to this's information in the previous yet i be conscious of that the reason it is extra high priced is with the aid of the fact it takes extra processing to make. the day previous to this's information is produced from recycled newspaper. so a procedures as pussycat Pine I even have used it and enjoyed it so lots extra advantageous than conventional clay muddle yet of direction you need to save the muddle field sparkling sparkling sparkling. My modern-day protocol for muddle packing containers is a product it is definitely used in wood pellet stoves. i take advantage of wood pellets it is definitely the same ingredient as pussycat pine. The pellets are slightly smaller than the pussycat pine pellets yet they artwork basically besides and are lots extra value-effective approximately $5 for a 40 pound bag. I even have 11 cats so a 40 pound bag lasts us some month. I scoop the solid fecal remember from the packing containers each and on a daily basis and as quickly as a week or whilst the field is "powdered out" not extra pellets I empty and then rinse, I spray with a young bleach answer a million area bleach to ten factors water and enable take a seat for roughly 5 minutes to disinfect then I rinse, dry and replenish with extra pellets. i've got not got any smell and the field continues to be dry. I additionally do no longer word any monitoring. yet another muddle you may attempt is noted as Mimi's muddle it is offered in walmart for roughly $4 a bag and it is crystals. those take in the urine on the instant and you basically scoop the solids. One bag is meant to final a million month for a million cat. I basically began utilising this with certainly one of my kittens who isn't used to pellets yet and we are engaged on making the swap from clay to pellets yet I even have discovered that those crystals artwork nicely with smell administration and that they stay dry so no monitoring of wetness exterior the muddle field.
