i agree on taking to vet to see what is going on, could be an abscess.

A cat I had a couple yrs ago seemed fine after a possible altercation with another cat (i just heard a meeooow, opened door and she ran in.) Several days later I noticed a bump on her and called vet on a Sunday they said I could take her in or wait till monday or take her to ER vet. I went back in room and the bump ruptured and a lot of puss came out. The surgery was very expensive.

good luck

It's hard to say. I have one now with a bb under his skin. It doesn't seem to hurt him. We had one before that had a worm larva growing under her skin. The vet removed it. It seemed to upset us more than her, most things with cats seem that way though. If there is any discharge it should probably see a vet.
This is Buffy, cute huh?

it could be an abscess. You might want to take her to the vet to have it checked out. try not to mess with it too much, you could disturb it and make it much worse. If it is an abscess, your vet will properly drain it and give you instructions on how to treat it without it getting infected.
