Question:
Cat strange behaviour?

Well, I totally love cats, have 2 at home and have learned a lot of things about them. But one of them (Luna Bastet, the youngest, 6 years old), has this strange behaviour that I have never heard of . When it comes to eat her food, she catches it with her paw, takes it out of the food bowl and then eats it on the floor. She's been doing this for a long time now although I can't remember exactly when it started.
I once asked a vet online about this and he said it is something normal some cats do, like "hunting" their food, and that I should not worry. Well, it's not that I really worry because I don't think it's something bad, she's not hurting herself and this behaviour doesn't bother me either, in fact, I find it funny sometimes when I am watching her while she eats. Luna is a very sweet and vocal kitty who loves to cuddle, give "kitten kisses" and push my belly remembering nice old times. So, I would simply like to know the reason why she's having this strange behaviour when eating, if it's somehow related to her infancy too, etc. My other cat eats normally and I have never knew of any other kitty doing the same thing so I am curious. Cats' psychology can be very interesting.
Your answers are appreciated. Thanks!

I work with 700 cats, and A LOT of cats do this.. With wet food, dry food, and a lot of them drink water off of their paws after they dip their paw in the bowl! Some of the other cats will get a mouthful of food, and go to a different area, drop it and eat it, even when there arent other cats around! Cats all have DIFFERENT personalities, just like people. My 8 year old Persian "uncovers" his water before he drinks, and I catch my 9 month old girl with her paw IN the water... who knows, cats are just strange :) Nothing more than that.

I don't think that her behavior is strange at all I have 3 cats in the house and my little kitten spanky eats just like that and marshmellow eats paper so it's not unnormal cats are just unlike any other creature just most people can't see it.

It became not rape, it became a coach of dominance. the different cat became exhibiting your's that he became in his domicile and he had to place as much as him. Cats do not remember one yet another after see you later. so a techniques as your in rules' cat knew it became in basic terms a unusual cat coming in to his territory.
