Need help with renaming my new cat, any suggestions? :)?

My new cat's current name is Fluffy, which does not suit him.

He is large, with long fur, brown tabby on top with white underneath. He also has a white fur ruff, green eyes and a red nose.

I would love a nature name, especially if it is forest related. Also, we are newlyweds, so if that can be incorporated as well, even better.

The names we are considering so far: Puppy, Lucky, Forest, Clover, Ranger, Umber, Buck, Buckthorn.

Also, Ally's Mommy, if you are out there, I LOVED your suggestions from my previous question, and I am so sorry it went to voting before I could give you best answer. Hope you find this one and give it a shot.

Thank you all for all of your help! :)

The first name that came to mind when you said related to forest, is Forest. A regal, green name. Give him a middle name of both of your initals like Forest GX or give him your last name Forest Smith or whatever.

I have a cat who came to me from the shelter with the name Scrabble. I named her Sylvie (which is French) and related to "forest" in that language. Would Sylvan be a name to suit him?

Well.. I think you should name him Rudolph.. it is the Christmas season, Rudolph is a deer which are usually in the forest, Rudolph is brown too and the red nose suits him! Good Luck with your new cat!

His green eyes make me think of the word pine or evergreen. Could also name him maple due to his coloring.

I'll try to list what I'm thinking about:

Nature names:

Pine

Evergreen

Maple

Squirrel (quirky name for a cat? ;)

Chip (as in chipmunk)

Sunny

Skipper

Thumper

Bambi

Flower

Banzaii

Newlywed names:

Unity (I was thinking harmony, but that's more of a girl's name)

Bond (as in marital bond. . .hooo boy I suck at this! :P)

Can't think of any more off the top of my head, but if I do, I'll edit my post.
