Can someone share a how-to link for banding a cat?

I can't seem to find one. I did find the bands that should be used, but I want to know exactly what to do to prevent problems.

Banding: castration of a male cat. Band goes on the testicles and the blood flow stops until they are 'dead'. No comments on how inhumane this is, I know that the neighbor bands his bulls and he is a good man.

The best place to ask about this info would be for you to ask your local "Humane Society". They will absolutely have the perfect answer for you....

It isn't a matter of being a good person or not you can be a saint and still do somethings wrong and this banding is wrong. Take the cat to the vet and have him neutered that way. This is going to sound cruel but it is the same thing, would you like your doctor to diagnose you with breast cancer then put a band around you breast until it died and fell off? I don't think so and that is what you would be doing to your cat. Even my dad would never band a bull to castrate one, he would say that it was cruel and inhumane.

Oh, for heaven's sake. Bulls are not cats, fool. If you do that, you will go to JAIL for animal cruelty.



Neutering a male cat is a very simple, inexpensive, painless procedure with quick recovery time.... and is performed by a VETERINARIAN.



The only person who would have come up with a barbaric idea like the one you've hatched, would be a person clearly suffering from a mental instability.





People like YOU are what gives homo sapiens a bad name.

What to do to prevent problems? Take the cat to a veterinarian and have them neuter the cat properly.
